Original writing and traceable sources
Articles use original wording and link to the sources supporting their factual content. Official documents, statistical releases, institutional statements and other reliable reporting are identified so readers can inspect the evidence.
Dates and status
The edition date is distinct from the date of an event, a data reference period or a source release. A proposal is described as a proposal; signature is separated from entry into force; forthcoming events are described as scheduled. Archived editions keep their historical dates.
Reporting and explanation
Source-based reports attribute announcements to the organisation making them. A Context section provides explanation separately from the reported development. Guide pages carry review dates. They do not replace official, case-specific legal, financial, entry or operational guidance.
Corrections
Send a correction request with the article URL, the relevant passage and supporting evidence through the contact address below. When a substantive correction is made, the article should state what changed and when. Publication dates should not be refreshed merely to make unchanged material appear new.
Images and independence
Photographs are public-domain or used under an appropriate license. Illustrative images are labelled, and an image is not presented as a photograph of an event it does not depict. Advertisements and commercial placements should be labelled and kept distinct from editorial judgments.
